What does it cost to attend Sucker Day?
The event is free to attend, the only charge might be for some parking lots or the $10 Unlimited Ride Wristbands for all the rides. There will be food, drink and dessert vendors as well as arts and crafts vendors who would love to have you purchase something with them. Also, there will be a charge for adult beverages in the 4C’s Sertoma Beer Garden. All LIVE music is FREE!

Where do we go if it rains?
There are several ways to avoid quick rain showers, you can visit one of the downtown Nixa Businesses, the All School Art Show in the Gym in the School, pop under one of the 5 big tents we have on the grounds or simply throw on a rain coat and start singing, "Singin' in the Rain."

Is there an App for Sucker Days information?
Yes, just visit your app store on your smart phone and download the FREE Experience Nixa App for Sucker Days and where to Eat, Shop, Live and Play in the Nixa Area.

Can big kids and adults buy wristbands?
Of course, if you want to ride the mechanical bull or with your kids, you will need a wristband. Some of the rides are great for all ages.

Is there a baby changing station?
Yes, near the Sucker Day’s Headquarters, The Reach church will have a booth set up for diaper changing and nursing station.

Can I purchase wristbands the day of the event?
Yes, there will be a fast pass (cash only) and slow lane (credit cards) at the Sucker Day HQ (see map). If you buy a wristband on Friday, keep it on, its good for Saturday and Sunday too.

Do the wristbands include the Pony Rides and Petting Zoo?
Yes they sure do.

What time does the Sucker Fish Meal start?
Unfortunately the days of having a plated meal have passed, however we do have Sucker Fish Samples for you starting at noon on Saturday while supplies last. You can taste the delicious Ozark’s fish that started this tradition back in 1957. The Christian County Historical Society will be helping serve the fish and donations would be appreciated to preserve the museum.

What is the cover charge to see the LIVE entertainers?
There is no cover charge for any of our live music. It’s free and open to all ages.

Do I have to be 21 to get in the Big Top Tent to enjoy the Live Music Friday and Saturday night?
No, its free to enter and for all ages. Alcohol will be served, but an ID will be needed and there will be a charge for the drink tickets.

What is the parade route?
The Parade route follows the same route as the Christmas parade for the most part, with the exception it starts at the Junior High instead of the community center. You can find more information at www.nixasuckerday.org/parade

Do I have to pay to enter the parade?
No, but RSVP is recommended by registering on our website.

Is there handicap parking?
In some locations at Thrive Church and behind the Nixa School building. Due to limited space and parking, allocations ADA approved sites is nearly impossible. We have made improvements to the width of the lanes during the event to allow easier wheelchair access and have 4 wheelchair port-a-potty’s scattered around the event. See the big kiosks maps that will be located on site on Main St during the event.

Will there be an ATM on location this year?
No, we were not able to secure one so please bring CASH!

Will First Aid be available?
Yes, we have a first aid station as well as Christian County Ambulance and Nixa Fire Protection District on location as well.

What if I have an emergency while attending Sucker Days?
Please dial 911 and describe your location. We have a master plan for safety in place that all of our emergency personnel are aware of and ready to respond to whatever your needs are.
